Colonial Kitchen Design

What big ideas do you have for your small, out-dated kitchen—an elegant, upscale space that can handle a crowd with ease?

Start taking notes! Furniture-style cabinets in a rich mahogany finish offering that refined and polished look you want. Marble topped peninsula doubling as a work surface and a place to share coffee with a friend. Butler’s pantry cleverly wrapping the kitchen around the corner, expanding it into a formerly unused area.

The work triangle in this kitchen was previously disrupted by multiple doorways, including one located where the range is now positioned. Closing the doorways off produced space for increased cabinetry and a convenient peninsula. The new design flows seamlessly with the adjacent rooms, making it an ideal setting for family gatherings.

This is a small kitchen that plays big. Everything is compact and very well-organized.
